Valentine’s Day
i am always melancholy on this day. LP and i have never had a Valentine’s Day together in person. No romantic candle lit dinner, no soft music or crackling fire, no evening at the movies to sit and hold hands while we watch. It also means no curling up together in bed later in the night and no Valentine’s Day romp in the hay. This will be the eighth one we have missed out on i think.
Still, who needs a special day to show their love. Every day we show our love and devotion to each other just by putting one more day behind us and we are still together. All the obstacles we have faced, all the expense LP has had to go to for us to spend time together, everything that we have had to face that could have killed what we have except for the love we refuse to let go of.
For us, every day is Valentine’s Day.
